ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for accurately reading and following manufacturing instruction.
• Accurately measure all ingredients for a batch.
• Must be able to lift up to 5Olbs consistently.
• Record all required Information real time on the proper forms.
• Able to track control points spelled out within manufacturing Instructions (I.e. temperature, weights, heights, etc.).
• Maintain accurate control over use of ingredients.
• Be proficient In usage of all required tools in a safety matter (I.e. scale, knives, valves, pumps, supersack hoisting device, mixers, manual and electric hand jacks etc.)
• Able to operate grinders, heating equipment, and cutting equipment.
• Acting as an extension of the room supervisor Batcher is responsible for ensuring success of the line.
• Responsible for working with and communicating with other associated departments (I.e. quality, maintenance, sanitation etc.).
• Provide the constructive feedback about manufacturing Instructions, tools being used, safety and other production components.
• Show characteristics of a team player.
• Capable of following and recognizing GMPs and safety measures.
• Able to locate and communicate incident reporting (foreign materials, roof leaks, damaged equipment or utensils, etc.).
• Can identify and follow proper procedure for employee and food safety hazards
QUALIFICATIONS ANO EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Must be proficient in either English or Spanish speaking and writing. Must complete LOTO (Lock-out/Tag-Out) training prior to be trained on the production lines.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Must be timely, consistent, and detailed oriented.
