RESPONSIBILITES

Short Lead-Time Ordering & Replenishment

  • Order short lead-time items
  • Maintain sanitation and PPE inventory and fulfill requests from plants
  • Coordinate transfers between locations and track issued items by employee
  • Support accountability and replenishment discipline for PPE/sanitation items
  • Track day-to-day inventory needs and follow up on missing or delayed shipments
  • Report quality issues, shortages, or delivery problems to the Purchasing Manager
  • Pick up supplies locally when required
  • Assist with purchasing records, basic spreadsheets, and reporting
  • Support vendor communications for order confirmations and delivery updates
  • Perform general clerical support for the purchasing department

SKILLS

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Comfortable in a plant environment (cold/loud) and able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, email, Word)
  • Organized, reliable, and responsive
